Villa Selvatico da Porto and its farm are located within the Roman centuriation north-east of Padua.
This territory is characterized by the agricultural subdivision carried out by the Romans in the first century BC, for which roads and ditches were traced orthogonally and according to precise rules by land surveyors, for the purposes of subdividing the agricultural land into lots to be assigned to war veteran legionaries.
This particular design has been preserved almost intact up to the present day, giving this area a particular historical, archaeological and landscape interest.
We are here 12 km from the city center of Padua and about 35 km west of Venice.
